For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Isaiah 33:22

JUDGES CHAPTER NINETEEN THROUGH 21 – A PROPHECY

A 16th century writer groups concubinary with adultery and incest, and says where there is the former, the latter abounds. It is an evidence of a land where there is NO KING. This is what the Spirit of the Lord showed me in Judges chapter nineteen

1 ¶  and it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite dwelling on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of beth-lehem-judah.

2  and his concubine played the harlot against him, and went away from him to her father’s house to beth-lehem-judah, and was there four whole months.

3  and her husband arose, and went after her, to speak kindly to her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father’s house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.
4  and his father-in-law, the damsel’s father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they ate and drank, and lodged there.
5  and it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he arose to depart: and the damsel’s father said to his son-in-law, comfort thy heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward depart.
6  and they sat down, and ate and drank both of them together: for the damsel’s father had said to the man, be content, I pray thee, and tarry all night, and let thy heart be merry.
7  and when the man rose to depart, his father-in-law urged him: therefore he lodged there again.
8  and he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart: and the damsel’s father said, comfort thy heart, I pray thee. and they tarried until afternoon, and they ate both of them.
9  and when the man arose to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father-in-law, the damsel’s father, said to him, behold now the day draweth towards evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day is coming to an end, lodge here, that thy heart may be merry; and to-morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home.
10  but the man would not tarry that night, but he arose and departed, and came over against Jebus, which is Jerusalem; and there were with him two asses saddled, his concubine also was with him.
11  and when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said to his master, come, I pray thee, and let us turn in to this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it.
12  and his master said to him, we will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will pass over to Gibeah.
13  and he said to his servant, come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah.
14  and they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, which belongeth to Benjamin.
15  and they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodge.
16 ¶  and, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at evening, who was also of mount Ephraim; and he dwelt in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjaminites.
17  and when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a way-faring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, whither goest thou? and whence comest thou?
18  and he said to him, we are passing from beth-lehem-judah towards the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to beth-lehem-judah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me into his house.
19  yet there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing:
20  and the old man said, peace be with thee; however, let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.
21  so he brought him into his house, and gave provender to the asses: and they washed their feet and ate and drank.
22 ¶  now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house on all sides, and beat at the door, and spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, bring forth the man that came into thy house, that we may know him.
23  and the man, the master of the house, went out to them, and said to them, nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into my house, do not this folly.
24  behold, here is my daughter, a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good to you: but to this man do not so vile a thing.
25  but the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth to them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
26  then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her lord was, till it was light.
27  and her lord rose in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and behold, the woman his concubine had fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshhold.
28  and he said to her, rise, and let us be going. but none answered. then the man took her upon an ass, and the man rose, and went to his place.
29  and when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the borders of Israel.
30  and it was so, that all that saw it, said, there hath been no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came from the land of Egypt to this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.

20:1 ¶  then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from dan even to beer-sheba, with the land of gilead, to the LORD in mizpeh.

When the Lord gave me this prophecies I could hardly wait to prophecy!. The fire of the Holy Ghost burned in me but he refused to grant me open doors until the ending of January. He then told me to preach on His tri-fold blessings bestowed upon his bride with the prophetic stories in Judges 19-21, from the book of Hosea, and from the story of the good Samaritan in Luke Chapter 10 verse 38 onwards. The Spirit of the Lord also showed to me that, this was the estate of the nations and of the church. But it was not until I had received a vision on the 29th of January, that I understood what was happening in the realms of the spirit. I recognized that, the days of groaning and mourning of the Bride of Christ and the revelations of the multiple rape given from Judges chapter 19-21, was indeed what was really happening in the realms of the Spirit.

A research I did showed that, the same date that the Spirit of the Lord showed me to prophesy of the horrific sex and human sacrifice in Judges 19-21, was in actual fact the festive dates on the satanic calendar. The research showed that, January 7th on Satanist calendar was their St Winebald day, where Blood rituals, dismemberment (cut, tear, pull off the limbs, torture, multilate, to divide into pieces as it happened in our main Scripture for the prophecy which is in Judges chapter 19 where the Levite cut his wife into twelve pieces ): animal/human sacrifices are made. This is the same week that the voice of the Spirit was calling His church to offer “A COVENANT BY SACRIFICE” to close the opening of NEW BEGINNINGS, with the Blood of Christ and with a THANK OFFERING. The message is available now on www.youtube/gospelfragrance - Covenant by Sacrifice.

The research also showed that, 17th of January on the satanist calendar, was the feast called      “ Satanic revels”. This is where sexual rituals are offered. This is repeated on the 26th of January (which is a day after God had allowed me to finally record the prophecies on TV): The feast is called “The Da Muer ritual”. It is the “Grand climax” where Sex rituals and human sacrifice of woman/child are made. These sex rituals usually are rapes and gang rapes according to research. This is the exact time I received the revelations showing that the gang rape and the cutting into pieces of the Levite’s concubine was not a just a horrible story but a pantomime of a satanic ritual, taking place in the lives of those who had made themselves bare, either by being not the BRIDE OF CHRIST, but HIS CONCUBINE, as you would see later on in the Chapters after.

See also, this is the reason why, others too especially WOMEN called into the PROPHETIC OFFICE, where bearing the same prophetic burden, so as to stand in the gap for those “women appointed to be RAPED AND GANG RAPED” and to be a hedge the BRIDE OF CHRIST from any satanic programmed dismemberment!! Halleluiah!! What a mighty God we serve! His immense love for his church was offering PROPECTION AND HEALING, in the same moment when the enemy had sent out his messengers to rape, gang rape and wound, bruise, steak, kill and destroy!

The satanist “grand climax “ comes six days after the Satanist feast called “ Sacrifice preparation” held from the 20th through the 26th of January . These are the days where ceremonial preparation of person for human sacrifice are kidnapping and held captive. But before we attend to the main Scripture for this prophecy, I would like us to read a few reports of stories that hit the headlines of world news and compare it to the season that it happened. This will open our eye to understand prophecies and things taken ace in the realm of the spirit through world event.

STORY 1 – Gang Rape, a satanic ritual

Indian woman says gang-raped on orders of village “Kangaroo”court

The Reuters News Agency reported that on Thursday 23rd of January, 2014, a senior police officer said on a 20-year-old woman in eastern India was gang-raped by 13 men on the orders of a village court as punishment for having a relationship with a man from a different community,. The woman, who is now recovering in hospital, told police she was assaulted by the men on the night of January 20th ( a date which begin the six day “grand climax” on sataist calendar) in Birbhum district in West Bengal.

Police said that her male companion was tied up in the village square, while the assault on the woman happened in a mud house. "We arrested all the 13 men, including the village chief who ordered the gang rape. The accused have been produced in court which remanded them to jail custody," Birbhum's Superintendent of Police said..

India toughened laws on sex crimes in March last year following the fatal gang rape of a physiotherapist on a moving bus in Delhi in December 2012. The case led to nationwide protests for better security and has helped sparked national debate about gender inequalities in India. The issue was highlighted in local media again last week after a 51-year-old Danish tourist was gang-raped in central Delhi by at least five men whom she had asked for directions.

The West Bengal victim's family told media that she was assaulted because the court believed she had violated the rules of her tribe by falling in love with a man from another community. The couple were ordered to pay a fine of 25,000 rupees ($400), said the victim's mother, adding that the village head then ordered the rape of her daughter. INDIA – A LAND OF IDOLATRY, ADUNDANT IN GANG RAPE

Human rights groups say diktats issued by kangaroo courts are not uncommon in rural regions.

In northern parts of India, illegal village councils known as "Khap Panchayats" act as de-facto courts settling rural disputes on everything from land and cattle to matrimony and murder. But such councils are coming under growing scrutiny as their punitive edicts grow more regressive - ranging from banning women from wearing western clothing and using mobile phones to supporting child marriage and sanctioning the lynching of young couples in so-called "honour killings". The assault comes after a spate of high profile rapes in West Bengal which have brought Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee under fire for not doing enough to stop violence against women.

West Bengal recorded the highest number of gender crimes in the country at 30,942 in 2012 - 12.7 percent of India's total recorded crimes against women. These crimes include rape, kidnapping and sexual harassment and molestation. Earlier this month, West Bengal's capital, Kolkata, witnessed public protests against police who have been accused of failing to act on the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl who was later murdered. ATTACK ON THE POPE’S DOVE AND THE KIDNAPPING OF HUMAN BLOOD

Crows attack peace birds released by POPE FRANCIS during PRAYER

Vicious attack on Vatican birds of peace raises concern

On Sunday, 26th of January (which is the “grand climax” sacrifice by satanist, two of the birds freed during the pope's weekly Angelus prayer were attacked in mid-air. The snowy white doves, set free from an open window of the Apostolic Palace by children with the pope during the service, were immediately set upon in mid-flight by one by a brazen (black) crow and the other by a vicious seagull, before an audience of tens of thousands visiting the St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, including children. The doves were pounced on right after they were set free whiles the predators immediately vanished after the attack .. One dove lost some feathers as it broke free from the gull. But the crow pecked repeatedly at the other dove.

While speaking at the window beforehand, Francis had appealed for peace in Ukraine, where anti-government protesters have died. The relentless seagull attacks a white dove in St. Peter's Square was a worrying scene and it's unclear how seriously the white doves were injured as they flew off. Some observers say this has happened during similar Vatican ceremonies in the past and the Italian animal protection agency ENPA - Ente Nazionale Protezione Animali - warned that the pope is sending the birds to their deaths. "Do not use more animals and sacrifice their lives to outmoded traditions," the group said in a statement. It noted that seagulls and crows "are predators" to doves, birds representing peace in Christian tradition. (source, ANSA, GINN, AP – VATICAN CITY)

The second rape attack was evidenced in the kidnapping of the relic of Pope John Paul 11. Please read:

Blood of Pope John Paul II stolen in possible 'satanic' theft - Telegraph

Relic 'may have been stolen to order', Satanists also suspected

(ANSA) - L'Aquila, January 27 - A reliquary containing blood from late pope John Paul II has been stolen from a church in a central Italian mountain village where the charismatic Polish pontiff used to hike, ski and meditate. More than 50 police using sniffer dogs combed the zone Monday, a day after the theft was discovered. Police said the gold reliquary was taken along with a cross over the weekend from the church of San Pietro della Ienca, located at the foot of the Gran Sasso mountain in central Italy, in the province of L'Aquila.

John Paul, who died in 2005 and is set to be made a saint at the end of April, liked slipping out of the Vatican to the quiet and devout community under the hulking peak in the Abruzzo region, Italy's biggest mountain outside the Alps. He reportedly covered the 132 kilometres (81 miles) on over 100 occasions, often in complete secrecy.

The provincial commander of the paramilitary Carabinieri police, Savino Guarino, said he was afraid the thieves might already have "disposed of the object". "They may have thrown it into the woods, which is why we're using the dogs," he said. The head of a local cultural association working to bolster the standing of John Paul's shrine at San Pietro della Ienca, Pasquale Corriere, told reporters he was "dismayed" by the theft because, "There are only three relics of John Paul in the world so this would be a painful loss." He said the robbery bore all the hallmarks of a crime "committed to order".

Corriere's daughter Franca, the custodian, said the thieves sawed through bars on a window to break into the church early Sunday morning or late Saturday night. When police entered the tiny stone church, she said, they "immediately saw" that the reliquary - a cloth soaked in blood donated after the pope survived a near-fatal assassination attempt in St Peter's Square in 1981, in a gold and glass circular case - was missing, along with the crucifix. Nothing else was taken, "not even the offering money, although the thieves would have had all the time they needed to ransack the church," she said.

John Paul's former private secretary, Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, gave the local community some of John Paul's blood in 2011 as a token of his fondness for the area. Corriere said the incident felt more like a kidnapping than a theft. "In a sense, a person has been stolen," she said.

Others have suggested a possible link to a Satanic cult. A Catholic organisation that stands guard against demonic possession, the Osservatorio Antiplagio, noted that "the date of the theft coincides with the start of the reign of the demon Volac, who Devil worshippers try to raise from Hell from January 25 to 29, to prepare for Satan's birthday on February 1". They also pointed out that Satanists, who admire the Nazis, like to desecrate Jewish and Christian sites on January 27, Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Italy: 'Drug addicts stole John Paul II relic and threw it away'

The AKI news agency in L'Aquila on Thursday 30th January, 2014, reported that three drug addicts arrested, confessed to stealing and throwing away the blood-stained shred of clothing worn by Pope John Paul II after breaking into the central Italian church housing where the relic was kept. The men were quoted in Italian media reports as saying they had tossed the blood-soaked cloth into a bush near the San Pietro della Ienca church outside the city of L'Aquila but could not remember exactly where.

Earlier in the day, police found the iron frame of the relic container, or reliquary, near a drug-addict treatment facility in the town of Collemaggio, not far L'Aquila, capital of the Abruzzo region.

The relic and a cross as we had earlier on said, was reported missing on Sunday, 27th January, 214 from the sanctuary dedicated to the popular Polish pontiff and sparked a huge police search in the surrounding area amid fears Satanists could be behind the thefts. The bloody shreds of clothing were worn by John Paull II during the failed 1980 assassination attempt against him.

The San Pietro della Ienca church is at the foot of the Gran Sasso mountain, an area where John Paull II used to hike, ski and meditate.

Pope John Paul II’s blood recovered after being stolen from Italy church

An undated photo provided by San Pietro della Ienca cultural association shows the monstrance containing a tiny relic bearing Pope John Paul II's blood, stolen from San Pietro della Ienca chapel, in the Apennine mountains, near L'Aquila, Italy. AP

REUTERS ROME reported on Friday January 31, 2014, 10:40 AM, that Italian police recovered the piece of cloth stained with the blood of the late Pope John Paul, a day after they found the stolen gold and glass case which once contained the relic. They told a news conference in L'Aquila, east of Rome, that they found the fragment in the garage of the two men who were detained for having stolen the reliquary last week. The monstrance containing a tiny relic bearing Pope John Paul II's blood, stolen from San Pietro della Ienca chapel, in the Apennine mountains, near L'Aquila, Italy. Bishop Giovanni D'Ercole told the same news conference he had pieced together the reliquary and the cloth after police found them in bits on successive days. The recovered piece of fabric was missing just a few filaments of cloth and gold thread, he said. The reliquary and a crucifix were stolen from the isolated mountain church of San Pietro della Ienca last weekend. The cloth was a fragment of the cassock that John Paul was wearing on May 13, 1981 when he was shot in an assassination attempt. Relics of saints and other holy figures are often displayed in reliquaries to be venerated by the Catholic faithful.

My goodness did you get it? Drug addict?? Of course! The name of drugs in the bible is Witchcraft! From Strongs number 5331 φαρμακεία pharmakeia pronounced far-mak-i’-ah and translated in the Authorized Version as -sorcery 2, witchcraft 1; 3 1) the use or the administering of drugs 2) poisoning 3) sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it 4) metaph. the deceptions and seductions of idolatry

Also, in the realms of the spirit to be drugged is to be bewitched! Who says there is no connection between these that were arrested and the kingdom of darkness?? We are not ignorant of the devices of the kingdom of darkness for the Spirit of the Lord has spoken! Though the relic is found, his is a great abuse to the catholic church whose ways many times is referred to by Charismatics as “adulterous” because of their image worshipping. Only God knows what they did with the kidnapped blood. It is a sign of the rape on the “spiritual concubine”.

POSSIBLE RITUAL SEX - STORY 3

Perverted Indiana mom admits selling baby for sex eight different times

Natisha Hillard, 25, told a judge she needed money for rent so she sold the baby to a 40-year-old man for sex. She faces 30 years in prison.

On Tuesday of January 28th, 2014, The New York dailies reported that a perverted Indiana mom is facing life in prison after she admitted selling her baby eight different times so a man could have sex with the infant. Natisha Hillard, 25, told a federal judge that she was in dire need of money so she rented the baby, which was between 4 months old and 16 months old during the demented trysts, for sex with Christopher M. Bour, 40. Federal officers first learned of the disturbing deal when Bour’s masseuse saw child pornography videos on his computer during a visit to his Gary, Ind. home, the Chicago Tribune reported. He later asked her to take pictures of him having sex with the baby, which he told her the mother had allowed. "I was just seeing if u would hold the camera," he later texted the woman as he graphically described the sex acts he planned. “It’s the best sex I ever had,” he wrote the woman, according to the indictment.

Christopher Bour is expected to plead guilty to having sex with an infant and photographing it. Hillard was in the room for seven of the sexual encounters, but relented one time and allowed the man to abuse and take photos of the baby without supervision. “He didn’t tell me what he was going to do with (the pictures),” she told authorities, The Post-Tribune reported. The degenerate couple first met in 2011 through a dating service. Hillard introduced the pervert to her two children, including her baby and 3-year-old daughter. She let the deviant take sexual pictures of the older girl at least once as well. She faces a minimum of 30 years to life in prison when sentenced. Bour is scheduled to appear in federal court on Thursday and is expected to plead guilty. He’s been charged with buying a child to produce child pornography, producing child pornography and possessing child pornorgraphy depicting a child under the age of 12.

BY SASHA GOLDSTEIN / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Excerpt by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the simple minded person reading this without discernment, would say, “o what a sad story” and let go. But where there is understanding and revelation, the people will not perish! IN THE NAME OF Jesus!!!!!. Those three stories are just a few I could put here testifying to what the Spirit of God was saying prophetically to the church. Though the broadcast I had recorded was scheduled to begin showing on TV on the 1st and 2nd of February, I was led to load it on our youtube channel, that’s www.youtube/gospelfragrance , so that our viewers can watch even before the month of February begins. In all of this I had no idea, that, the saving power of God was at work.

In the vision, I saw an “INCA high priest having a blood sacrifice. This high priest’s mouth was smeared with blood jubilant teased and eased at the human sacrifice they were making. This is when I took to research and got to know that, February 2 was the Candlemass on the Satanist calendar where Mass initiation of new members and animal or human sacrifices are made. It is my prayer, therefore, that you listen attentively to the voice of the spirit through this message and watch the prophecies on our youtube channel link - http://youtu.be/As_rNL0RmoA  or order for the full DVD at only 9,99 euros and follow the broadcast on TV this and every Saturday and Sunday on the RTB/RETEBRESCIA, SKY 819, 829, DIGITALE 72, 213, 681-9

PART TWO

The Bible declares quite clearly that God is not only well aware of what is taking place, but He also has the power, wisdom, and love to either stop it at any time or let it run its course. In fact, Scripture plainly shows God actively—indeed proactively, not merely permissively—involved in earthly matters. God has not gone "way off somewhere," letting things simply proceed naturally. He is Jehovah!! JEHOVAH SHAMMAH!, the ever present and not only that, but He is lord! The Possessor of all things Kurios Iyesus! And in such a time as this, the Spirit and the bride says “THE LORD IS OUR JUDGE, THE LORD IS OUR LAW-GIVER, THE LORD IS OUR KING, AND HE WILL SAVE US!” This is the voice of the husband (Christ) saying to the bride (His church), that I still am your defender, protector and saviour!

In the realms of the spirit, the Spirit of God showed me the estate of his bride – wounded, abused, maligned, raped and ganged raped, sold at the slave market, dead or dying. And even as I struggled through my spirit reading the prophecies given, which was from Judges chapter 19 through the 21st chapter, the consoling voice of the spirit said to me, all of this horrors and degradations, and lootings have taken place, because I am no more reckoned as king in my own kingdom. He likened it to one of the parables of Jesus in the New Testament. We are reading from Matthew chapter 22:

1 ¶  And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2  The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3  And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4  Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5  But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6  And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7  But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8  Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9  Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10  So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. 11  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12  And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14  For many are called, but few are chosen.

This is exactly what is happening in this age and in this season:

$11)      People don’t pay no attention to the gospel.

$12)      They choose their work above Church

$13)      Others go about to their businesses. (v.5)

$14)      The rest grab the king’s servants, mistreat them, and then killed them.

Thus we see two kinds of the WOUNDED – Those who have no time or who have abandoned their spouse who is their Lord and King, and then those who are abused, wounded and killed for the sake of the gospel. Then in the last verses of the above chapter, we read that "when the king came to see the guests, he saw a person who was not dressed in the wedding clothes provided for the guests. He said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without proper wedding clothes?’ "The man had nothing to say. 13  Then the king told his servants, ‘Tie his hands and feet, and throw him outside into the darkness. People will cry and be in extreme pain there.’  "Therefore, many are invited, but few of those are chosen to stay." (11-14)

John wrote this revelation at the island of Patmos saying ¶  And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Rev.19:1-9

The guest that was found “without” the proper wedding cloth is symbolic of “a concubine” and not a bride. Not the wife that is spotless with her linen garment.  This is the spirit of “concubinaging”. Concubinage is defined by the FreeDictionary.com as

$11)      Cohabitation, or the act of living together and having sexual relationships without being legal married, i.e. cohabitation of a man and a woman without legal or formal marriage

$12)      The state of being a concubine

A concubine from the Eastons bible dictionary and in the Bible denotes a female conjugally united to a man, but in a relation inferior to that of a wife. Among the early Jews, from various causes, the difference between a wife and a concubine was less marked than it would be amongst us. The concubine was a wife of secondary rank. There are various laws recorded providing for their protection #Ex 21:7 De 21:10-14 and setting limits to the relation they sustained to the household to which they belonged #Ge 21:14 25:6 They had no authority in the family, nor could they share in the household government. The immediate cause of concubinage might be gathered from the conjugal histories of Abraham and Jacob #Ge 16:1ff. #Ge 30:1ff.But in process of time the custom of concubinage degenerated, and laws were made to restrain and regulate it #Ex 21:7-9 Christianity has restored the sacred institution of marriage to its original character, and concubinage is ranked with the sins of fornication and adultery #Mt 19:5-9 1Co 7:2

Thefore as it is in the book of Matthe chapter 22, so is it in the book of Revelation. It is the spouse that grants the bride the “wedding garment” while she on her part, made herself ready by the Spirit’s work in her (putting on "the wedding garment," yet in the fullest sense it is not she, but her Lord, who makes her ready by "granting to her that she be arrayed in fine linen." It is He who, by giving Himself for her, presents her to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot, but holy and without blemish. It is He also who sanctifies her, naturally vile and without beauty, with the washing of water by the word, and puts His own comeliness on her, which thus becomes hers clean and white—"bright and pure"; at once brilliantly splendid and spotless as in the bride herself.

Thus the garment of the bride is called "righteousnesses"; not her righteousness but the Lord’s righteousness for he is "the Lord our righteousness"  and to each saint on his believing, their robes being made available - white in the blood of the Lamb. The righteousness of the saint is not, as ALFORD erroneously states, inherent, but is imputed: if it were otherwise, Christ would be merely enabling the sinner to justify himself. #Ro 5:18 is decisive on this.

The “garment of righteousness does not offer only protection but justification from all legislative, judiciary and administrative evil rulers and Lords over the earth. The man without the garment is symbolic of the apostate who is judged and condemned as a the harlot. The harlot. Babylon, the apostate Church, is the antithesis to new Jerusalem, the transfigured Church of God. The woman (#Re 12:1-6), the harlot (#Re 17:1-7), the bride (#Re 19:1-10), are the three leading aspects of the Church whose HEAD IS CHRIST.

A Garment is also symbolic of the SYMBOL of the COVENANT OF MARRIAGE. 1 Corinthians  chapter 11 says “The head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. ………. the woman is the glory of the man. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. … for her hair is given her for a covering. 3,7,10,15

The word head, in the Scriptures, is designed often to denote master, ruler, chief,( which means LORD or HUSBAND).  The word (Greek) is often thus used in the Old Testament. See #Nu 17:3 25:15 De 28:13,44 Jud 10:18 11:8,11 1Sa 15:17 2Sa 22:44. In the New Testament the word is used in the sense of lord, ruler, chief, in #Eph 1:22 4:15 Eph 5:23 Col 2:10. Here it means that Christ is the Ruler, Director, or Lord of the Christian man. Christ is THE JUDGE, THE LAW-GIVER AND THE KING. This truth was to be regarded in all their feelings and arrangements, and was never to be forgotten. Every Christian should recollect the relation in which he stands to him, as one that is fitted to produce the strictest decorum, and a steady sense of subordination to his or her LORD. TherEfore, it is only the Bride with the GARMENT that can appropriate of the full title and benefits of HIS LORDSHIP as JUDGE, LAW-GIVER and KING.

It is not everyone that says Lord, Lord hall enter into the kingdom of God means that shall enjoy the beneits of his Lordship. And though all acknowledge Christ as their Ruler and Master, it is only in subjexting to his rulership in word and deed and in all proper ways recognizing their subordination to him, that qualifies them as the BRIDE. The sense is, she is subordinate to him; and in all circumstances-in her demeanour, her dress, her conversation, in public and in the family circle — should recognize her subordination to him. The lesson in 1 Corinthians referred to is, that if the woman (guest) is inspired, (invited) and speaks or prays in public (wedding ), she should by no means lay aside the usual and proper symbols of her subordination. The danger was, that those who were under the influence of inspiration would regard themselves as freed from the necessity of recognizing that, and would lay aside the veil, the usual and appropriate symbol of their occupying a rank inferior to the man. This was often done in the temples of the heathen deities by the priestesses, and it would appear also that it had been done by Christian females in the churches.

Christ, as Mediator, has consented to assume a subordinate rank, and to recognize God the Father as superior in office. Hence he was obedient in all things as a Son; he submitted to the arrangement required in redemption; he always recognized his subordinate rank as Mediator, and always regarded God as the Supreme Ruler, even in the matter of redemption. The sense is, that Christ, throughout his entire work, regarded himself as occupying a subordinate station to the Father; and that it was proper from his example to recognize the propriety of rank and station everywhere. "Christ" as HEAD means he us the one that covers. The one that provides the garment  #Ge 3:16 1Pe 3:1,5,6 . The Christian marriage prophetically speaks through the Christian marriage where "head of every man, covering, garment " is Christ and where the head, covering, garment of every woman is her husband #Eph 5:23 #Joh 14:28 1Co 15:27,28

The Concubine

This is what the prophetic lesson we have with the “uninvited guest” ““picked out from the highway or hedge” without the proper “wedding garment”. Hebrews do not have rings as token of their marriage covenant, but a veil. A garment as we have learnt, is the symbol or evidence of the covenant of marriage between the bride and the groom. An unveiled woman was symbolic of a prostitute (1 Corinthians 11), whiles a veil on the head of a woman was symbolic of her submission to her husband, who is her head, that is her protector.  The woman with the spirit of the concubine, present herself daily at the wedding of the Lamb but has not declared any seriousness in forming a legal marriage pact. Such live under the King’s wrath and are under divine judgement. They suffer unexplainable defeat, live under all kinds of bondages, spiritual attacks according to the king himself “ the servants”; The work of their “ hands” and course of their “feet” – lives suffer continuous defeat and grope in the noon day as in the night because they have been sentenced to be put “out into the dark; instead of being put into the glorious light of Christ. The evidence of this is a life of weeping and cries of sorrow.

This is exactly what I heard in my spirit. That there was much weeping, sorrowing, rape, abuse and spiritual gang rage and judgement amongst those who call themselves “the bride of Christ”. That she laid wounded, naked and dejected, and there was not to say LIVE! The voice of the Spirit through the prophet Isaiah says: It is because you have rejected the Lord as your king, that is why you suffer defeat in judgement for you no more have a judge when you don’t have a king. You love the law of God when He is no more your king and you lose all the benefits of salvation. But you say how have we rejected him as our king?

"Hear, ye that are afar off, what I have done; and ye that are near, acknowledge my might. The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath seized the godless ones; Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from taking a bribe, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from looking upon evil: he shall dwell on high; his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given him;his waters shall be sure."

The above teaches us that, the “man” that shall choose to live under the marriage home without the proper garment which as we have said means, without making the LORD, as his or her JUDGE, LAW-GIVER (that means walking in his holy law) and KING, shall be left bare and open.

JUDGES CHAPTE NINETEEN THROUGH 21 – A PROPHECY

A 16th century writer groups concubinary with adultery and incest, and says where there is the former, the latter abounds. It is an evidence of a land where there is NO KING .Yet what amazes me most is that after all that has been recounted from Judges chapter 19 through 21, the bible says, “Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from dan even to beer-sheba, with the land of gilead, to the LORD in mizpeh.thousand men; all these drew the sword. Verse 26 through says “ then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came to the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until evening, and offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before the LORD and the children of Israel inquired of the LORD, (for the ark of the covenant of god was there in those days,  and Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? and the LORD said, go up; for to-morrow I will deliver them into thy hand. Judges 20 verse 26-29

In Judges 19, a Levite(husband, lord)’s concubine plays the whore; runs from him to her father’s house at Beth-lehem; he goeth to fetch her back; is kindly entertained by her father; he departs, and comes to Gibeah of Benjamin, and his concubine with him, #Jud 19:1-14. An “old man”or Elder in the city of Mount Ephraim entertains them, #Jud 19:15-21. The men of the city encompass the house, to debauch (have homosexual rape on) the Levite, who delivers unto them his concubine, upon request by the old man, to not be not only abused but gang raped to death, #Jud 19:22-28. He then finds her lying the next day on the opening of the doo and kicks her to rise up so they can leave on their journey as if nothing has happened but after many kicks when the concubine refuses to respond, does the Levite recognizes that the woman he was speaking to and kicking at is dead. He then carries her dead body on his donkey and journeys home where he divideth it into twelve parts and sends each part into all the coasts of Israel, #Jud 19:29,30.

In this story, we see three authority figures. The firs is the Levite. A Levite, is a descendant of the tribe of Levi #Ex 6:25 Le 25:32 Nu 35:2 Jos 21:3,41 This name is, however, generally used as the title of that portion of the tribe which was set apart for the subordinate offices of the sanctuary service #1Ki 8:4 Ezr 2:70 as assistants to the priests. When the Israelites left Egypt, the ancient manner of worship was still observed by them, the eldest son of each house inheriting the priest’s office. At Sinai the first change in this ancient practice was made. A hereditary priesthood in the family of Aaron was then instituted #Ex 28:1 But it was not till that terrible scene in connection with the sin of the golden calf that the tribe of Levi stood apart and began to occupy a distinct position #Ex32:1ff. The religious primogeniture was then conferred on this tribe, which henceforth was devoted to the service of the sanctuary #Nu 3:11-13 They were selected for this purpose because of their zeal for the glory of God #Ex 32:26and because, as the tribe to which Moses and Aaron belonged, they would naturally stand by the lawgiver in his work. The Levitical order consisted of all the descendants of Levi’s three sons, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari; whilst Aaron, Amram’s son (Amram, son of Kohat), and his issue constituted the priestly order.  The age and qualification for Levitical service are specified in #Nu 4:3,23,30,39,43,47 They were not included among the armies of Israel #Nu 1:47 2:33 26:62 but were reckoned by themselves. They were the special guardians of the tabernacle #Nu 1:51 18:22-24 The Gershonites pitched their tents on the west of the tabernacle #Nu 3:23 the Kohathites on the south #Nu 3:29 the Merarites on the north #Nu 3:35 and the priests on the east #Nu 3:38 It was their duty to move the tent and carry the parts of the sacred structure from place to place.  They were given to Aaron and his sons the priests to wait upon them and do work for them at the sanctuary services #Nu 8:19 18:2-6 As being wholly consecrated to the service of theLord, they had no territorial possessions. Jehovah was their inheritance #Nu 18:20 26:62 De 10:9 De 18:1,2 and for their support it was ordained that they should receive from the other tribes the tithes of the produce of the land. Forty-eight cities also were assigned to them, thirteen of which were for the priests "to dwell in," i.e., along with their other inhabitants. Along with their dwellings they had "suburbs," i.e., "commons," for their herds and flocks, and also fields and vineyards #Nu 35:2-5 Nine of these cities were in Judah, three in Naphtali, and four in each of the other tribes #Jos 21:1ff. Six of the Levitical cities were set apart as "cities of refuge" (q.v.).  Thus the Levites were scattered among the tribes to keep alive among them the knowledge and service of God.

The above story helps us understand the role of this man who was a husband and a Levite.

  • He was not A PRIEST, but was set apart for the subordinate offices of the sanctuary service #1Ki 8:4 Ezr 2:70 as assistants to the priests. Thus he is distinct from a TRUE husband who is THE PRIEST of the house.
  • Because the Levitical order consisted of all the descendants of Levi’s three sons, this man maybe a descendant of either Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
  • Levites were the special guardians of the tabernacle but this one failed miserably in protecting the BRIDE who is symbolic of the CHURCH, THE TABERNACLE.
  • It was their duty to move the tent and carry the parts of the sacred structure from place to place. He moved from place to place with his concubine but lacked discernment.
  • They were given to Aaron and his sons the priests to wait upon them and do work for them at the sanctuary services. He failed miserably in executing his spiritual responsibility in serving Christ the Priest and following his headship rule.
  • Six of the Levitical cities were set apart as "cities of refuge", but this concubine did not find refuge with her Levite husband.

Israel lived in an apostate era where the book of judges concludes that they served God and Idols and everyone did what was right in their sight because THERE LORD WAS NOT KING OVER HIS OWN KINGDOM. This are the people who had prostituted themselves by living and serving God their own way and then going to the house of God to fast and pray when they found themselves in trouble. Yet though there was no king in the land, there was PHINEHAS THWE PRIEST AIN THE LAND. Phinehas MEANING "mouth of brass" (distinct from Phinehas the priest and the son of the priest Eli), is the son of Eleazar and grandson of Aaron. Bible records him in the history of Israel for his zealousness for the Lord which caused the Lord to avert a plague on Israel for their “prostitution”. This gained him the promise of the Lord of an everlasting priesthood in his family. Phinehas, thus is symbolic of Christ whom upon being sought by the Levite comes to refresh, restore and renew his people – his church.

The prophecies in the above story shows that in those days as in our day, there was abundant unfaithfulness to GOD and to our fellow humans. Husbands abused, molested and allowed others to molest their wives. People raped and ganged raped. There was abundant of Satanist activities the ore church symbols. Dismemberment , cutting, tearing apart of the limbs of the bride f Christ by the Levite. All because there was no king. The physical moral, spiritual and social degradation of Israel was a manifestation of their “concubinage”. The sought the Lord with their mouth but their hearts were far and the Lord had abandoned them. They of more enjoyed the status of a wife, but of a concubine.

The Levite could not grant protection as he should have to the concubine, nor did the “old man” who is the spiritual ruler of the city grant them refuge as promised. We live in days when the church is doing what is right in their sight. Authority figures are doing what is right in their sight. Nations have said unto god, “depart from us”. His holy laws has been trampled upon. The bride is now living like a concubine. She has lost her covering and now lays bare, raped, gang raped, wounded, made a common thing and bruised by the uncircumcised. When HOMOSEXUALITY, STRANGE ABUSE AGAINST FOREGNER AND AGAINST GOD’S HOLY THINGS, GAND RAPE AND DISMEMBERMENT occurred in the land of a people as it occurred in the Benjamites, it shows that the LORD IS NO MORE KING but satan.

To the man who calls himself “husband”, may I please as your spiritual role in your home. Are you a priest or a Levite. So also do I submit to the Christian wife in the house – what is your role, are you a concubine or a wife. This question is to the church which is the body of Christ. There is a husband, I know, who seeks for the lost, the marred and gives them healing and protection. The husband is he that says he will go and bring back his wife that has played the whore and even when this woman seeks after her lovers and is sold into the slave market by them, e will go and buy them back. This is the greatness of God’s love demonstrated to his church through the pantomimic story of the prophet Hosea and the prostitute Gomer narrated in the book of Hosea. Read the Scripture: Hosea

Hosea was the first of the "minor" prophets. Often, we do not recognize the derivation of these Bible names. Hosea’s name means  עשׁוה Howshea‘ AV-Hoshea 11, Hosea 3, Oshea 3; 16 means  "salvation". It was the family name of Joshua, the son of Nun.

Hosea, son of Beeri, was the first of the minor prophet to the northern kingdom of Israel in the reign of Jeroboam II. And his name is related to the name Joshua, which means "salvation." Hosea was a young preacher in the nation of Israel, and he was a contemporary of the prophets Isaiah and Amos. He lived, as we are told in the first verse, during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah (kings of Judah, the Southern Kingdom), and during the reign of Jeroboam, the son of Joash, the king of Israel. Jeroboam was one of the wicked kings of Israel and the nation was going through a difficult time when Hosea was preaching. People were "living it up," as we might say, and didn't have much time for God. They wouldn't have said that, of course; nobody ever says that when it is true. Instead they may have said something like we do -- that it was just a case of not having quite enough time to meet the demands that God made upon them; they were so busy with so many other important things. The spirit was willing but the flesh was ready for the weekend.

So, as always, people didn't pay much attention to Hosea. He spoke of judgment and of chastisement. He said that God was going to raise up the Assyrian nation to punish this people and that fierce and ruthless army would sweep across the land like a scourge. But the people paid little attention to him, and they said that Hosea's God must be a pretty vengeful sort to talk like that. Hosea tried to tell them that wasn't so. He said that God was a God of love and that his doing this was the very activity of love; that God wanted them to see what they were doing to themselves and that the only way he could get them to listen was to make things rough for them. But they didn't pay any more attention than people do today about things like that. Instead, they blamed God and said, "If God is really a God of love, then why does he let things get in such a mess? How could a God of love ever send a ruthless people like the Assyrians down upon our land?"

And so young Hosea found that his audience was diminishing. People were polite to his face, I suppose, but they sneered behind his back. He found that he was being given the nice-and-harmless treatment. That is what people usually do to preachers. When I was in England once, I met an Anglican clergyman who said that what bothered him most both before and during the time of the Battle of Britain were the signs in the public squares that read, "All persons must register for the draft except women, children, idiots and clergymen." He said he didn't mind so much being included on that list, but he wished they had at least put him ahead of the idiots.

So Hosea is rather discouraged and in the opening chapter of this little book of prophecy we read a personal note about him. He went to God and God told him to do a strange thing. God said, "I want you to get married." I think Hosea brightened up at that, because he was a bachelor, and God said, "I have a girl picked out for you." When he mentioned her name, Hosea's heart must have fluttered, because the name of this girl was Gomer, the most beautiful girl in Israel. Hosea was definitely interested.

But God said to him, "I want you to know the whole story about this girl. I want you to marry her, but she is going to be unfaithful to you; in fact, she will become nothing but a common street prostitute. But I want you to marry her anyway." Now undoubtedly Hosea was very puzzled by God's strange command just as Abraham was puzzled by God's command that he take his son out and kill him, put his own son to death. God does strange things at times, things we don't always understand, things we can't categorize, things that don't fit into what we think we know of him. And this is one of those strange things. He told Hosea, "I want you to marry this girl and she is going to be a harlot, a common street prostitute. But you are going to have three children, two boys and a girl. And when they are born I want to name them for you. " Perhaps Hosea then began to understand a little bit of what God was doing. He knew it was customary in Israel to teach by symbols -- God often used this method of instructing his people -- and that names were very important. God often used the meanings of names to teach Israel certain truths. And now God was planning to use this prophet and his family as an object lesson for his people.

This was happening also with his friend Isaiah down in the Southern Kingdom. Isaiah, also, had two boys. Their names are jaw-breakers to pronounce, but they mean something. The younger boy's name was Shearjashub, which means "a remnant shall return." That was God's promise to Israel that even though they were taken into captivity, a remnant would come back. The older boy's name was Mahershalalhashbaz. I don't know how they ever called these children in for lunch in those days. Mahershalalhashbaz means "haste to the prey" or "haste to the spoil," and it was God's prophetic way of telling the nation that they were in deep trouble. But he also comforted them with the words "a remnant shall return."

So Hosea went courting. Sure enough, Gomer was attracted to this shy young man, and at last he summoned up the courage to ask her to marry him. To his great relief, she said yes, and they were married. At first it was heaven on earth. Hosea loved this girl. You can't read this prophecy without seeing that. They must have been wonderfully happy together, and then they had their first child. It was a boy, as God had said. Hosea's heart was filled to bursting, and he went to God for the name of this boy. "What should we name the lad?" To his surprise, God picked the name Jezreel. Now Jezreel means "cast-away" and was a name of shame in Israel. Do you remember the bloody story of Queen Jezebel and Ahab? Ahab cheated his neighbor out of his property and stole his neighbor's vineyard, and Jezebel was the wicked queen who put him up to it. At last God's judgment fell upon her. She was looking out her upper story window one day when a general, Jehu, was down in the courtyard, and he ordered the servants to throw Jezebel out the window. They threw her out and she fell on the pavement and was killed, and the dogs ate her up, and the courtyard has been called Jezreel ever since. (2 Kings 9:30-37)

Nevertheless, that was the name that God picked for Hosea's oldest boy, his first son. And that was the name Hosea gave to his baby, for he understood that God was thus warning his people: they too would be cast away if they didn't recognize the folly of their actions, if they didn't turn from going after idols and giving way to abominable practices and trying to be like everybody else around them. God was warning them with this baby's name.

In the course of time, another child. a daughter, was born to Hosea. This one was named Loruhamah, which means "not pitied." Imagine naming your little baby girl "not pitied." It meant that God would no longer have pity on his people if they continued their stubborn rebellion. His patience was wearing thin. After some hundreds of years of trying to reach this stubborn people, he was now warning them that they w ere getting near the end. that a time would come when he would no longer pity them but would hand them over to invading armies.

When this little girl was weaned, Gomer conceived again and bore a third child, another little boy. And this one God named Loammi, "not my people," for God was saying, "you are not my people and I will not be your God." God had said that he would name these children as a sign to his people, but there would come a day of restoration: "And I will have pity on Not-Pitied, and I will say to Not-My-People, 'You are my people;' and he shall say, 'Thou art my God.'" (Hosea 2:23 RSV)

So that even in this time when God was announcing judgment. his grace also was being shown.

Now after this there were no more children in Hosea's household. and Gomer began to fulfill the sad prediction that God had made when he had told Hosea to marry her. What a heartbreak it must have been to this young preacher as he heard the whispers that began to circulate about his wife and about what happened when he was away on preaching trips. Perhaps even his own children may have unconsciously dropped some remarks about the men who visited when Daddy was away. And soon the children were left uncared for while Gomer wasted all her time running around with these other fellows.

One day Hosea came home and found a note from Gomer: she had decided to find the happiness she felt she deserved, and she was leaving him and the children to follow the man she really loved. You know how those notes go: "Dear John..."

About this time a new tone came into Hosea's preaching. He still warned of the judgment to come and the fact that God was going to send the Assyrians down across the land, but no longer did he announce it with thunder. He spoke to them with tears. And he began to speak of a day when love would at last triumph, when -- after the bitter lesson was learned that the way of the transgressor is hard -- Israel would yet turn back to the God who loved her. Instead of "Not pitied," she would be called "Pitied" and instead of "Not my people," she would be named "My people" again.

But poor Gomer passed from man to man, until at last she fell into the hands of a man who was unable to pay for her food and her clothing. Her first lover had given her a mink stole, but this one made her clothe herself from the Goodwill store. News of her miserable state came to the prophet and he sought out the man she was living with. He knew where he would find him, down at the local tavern, and when he met this man, the conversation may have gone something like this. "Are you the man who is living with Gomer, daughter of Diblaim?" The man must have said, "If it's any of your business, I am." Hosea said, "Well, I am Hosea, her husband." A tense moment followed. But the man said, "What do you want? I haven't done anything wrong." Hosea said, "Listen, I'm not interested in causing any trouble. But I know that you are having difficulty making ends meet. I want you to take this money and buy Gomer some clothing and see that she has plenty of food. If you need any more I will give it to you." The man probably must have thought, "There's no fool like an old fool. If this sucker wants to help pay her expenses, that's all right with me." So he took the money and bought her Some groceries and went home.

Now you may say, "That's a foolish thing for a man to do"' But who can explain the madness of love? Love exists apart from reason and has its own reasons. Love does not act according to logic. Love acts according to its own nature. And so Hosea acted on the basis of love. Undoubtedly he watched from a distance to catch a glimpse of the woman he loved as she rushed out the door to take the groceries from this man's arms and to thank him for what he was bringing to her -- the gifts that true love had provided, and that villainy offered, and that folly accepted.

Well, how long this went on we don't know for sure, but at last word came that the woman Hosea loved was to be sold in the slave market. Her current husband had tired of her and she was to be sold as a slave. The brokenhearted prophet didn't know what to do. He went weeping to God. And God said. "Hosea, do you love this woman in spite of all that she has done to you?" Hosea nodded through his tears, and God said. "Then go show your love for her in the same way that I love the nation Israel."

So Hosea went to the marketplace and he watched Gomer brought up and placed on the dock and there she was stripped of all her clothing and stood naked before the crowd. The auctioneer pinched her and prodded her and showed how strong she was, and then the bidding began. Somebody bid three pieces of silver and Hosea raised it to five. Somebody else upped it to eight and Hosea bid ten. Somebody went to eleven; he went to twelve. Then Hosea offered fifteen pieces of silver and a bushel of barley. The auctioneer's gavel fell and Hosea had his wife back.

He went to her and put her clothes on her and he led her away by the hand and took her to his home. And then follows what is perhaps the most beautiful verse in all the Bible. As Hosea led her away he said to her: "You must dwell as mine for many days; you shall not play the harlot, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you." (Hosea 3:3b RSV)

He pledged his love to her anew. And that was all this poor woman could take. She had gotten down to the very dregs of shame and disgrace, but the love of this man broke her heart, and from this time on Gomer was faithful to Hosea. She became an honest. industrious, faithful wife, and the rest of the book of Hosea simply goes on to tell the effect of this story on the nation of Israel -- God said to them. "How can I give thee up?' He reminded them of his love for them all those years. He reminded them of his goodness, and of how again and again they had turned their backs on him. The final picture of the book is one of beauty and glory, for it looks to the day when Israel shall at last return to God -- her true husband -- and shall say, "What have I to do with idols? I have seen him and heard him and he has won my heart."

Certain outstanding passages in Hosea are remarkable predictions. One occurs at the close of chapter 3, when right in line with this story of Hosea's personal life. God says about the people of Israel:

For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or teraphim. (Hosea 3:4 RSV)

That prophecy is being fulfilled today. The children of Israel shall dwell many days without a king -- without any open, acknowledged government. Ever since the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. at the hands of General Titus of the Roman armies Israel has been without a king or a prince without anyone who has the recognized right to reign over Israel. And they shall live without a sacrifice. When the Jews of the world celebrate the Passover supper they are remembering that supper instituted in Egypt when Israel was delivered from the hand of Pharaoh. And God had told Israel that every time they ate the Passover they were to kill a lamb. But for two thousand years the Jews have never killed a lamb. Why not? Why do they offer a bone, a burned bone for a sacrifice? God had said that they shall live many days without a sacrifice, and since the destruction of the temple there has never been a sacrifice in Israel -- nor a pillar, ephod or teraphim. And they shall live without idolatry. They shall live as a religious people but without giving themselves to idols.

Then after these days are ended, afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and they shall come in fear to the Lord and to his goodness in the latter days. (Hosea 3:5 RSV)

What a wonderful prophecy that is! And another one similar to it is at the close of chapter 5: I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress they seek me, saying, "Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn, that he may heal us; he has stricken, and he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord; his going forth is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth." (Hosea 5:15-6:3 RSV) That is the hope of Israel -- that their Messiah will yet come to them and water them and revive them and raise them up again.

In the closing chapters after all the sorrow in the heart of God you come at last to the final picture: Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. (Hosea 14:1 RSV)

After all it wasn't God who was to blame. He was simply trying to get them to see the truth. And the only thing that can relieve their agony is to return. That's always the case. God can't bless us or restore us until we come back. And so God says: Take with you words and return to the Lord; say to him, "Take away all iniquity; accept that which is good and we will render the fruit of our lips"[That is praise.] "Assyria shall not save us, we will not ride upon horses[no military power is going to avail] and we will say no more, 'Our God,' to the work of our hands [idolatry]. In thee the orphan finds mercy." (Hosea 14:2-3 RSV) God's response is: I will heal their faithlessness; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned from them, I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, he shall strike root as the poplar; his shoots shall spread out; his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon. They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow, they shall flourish as a garden; they shall blossom as the vine, their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon.O Ephraim, what have[you] to do with idols'? [A better rendering than "what have I"] It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress, from me comes your fruit. (Hosea 14:4-8 RSV)

And the prophet adds this lesson from his own heartache and yet in the joy of restored love: Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them. (Hosea 14:9 RSV)

Can you see in this beautiful story all the elements of the eternal triangle? There is the loving God, the faithless human heart, and the deceptive attractiveness of the world. This is your story and my story isn't it? So many times we try to satisfy ourselves with the lying idols of self-importance or wealth or a good time. Ours is the blindness that like Gomer's cannot distinguish between lust and love. We try to run from God and drown our miseries in empty pleasures or drink or work or social life but as surely as we think we have escaped, as surely as we think we have run far enough, God touches our sleeve with his love saying My child, my name and my nature are love and I must act according to what I am. When you tire of all your running and your wandering and your heartbreak, I'll be there to draw you to myself again."

That is the story of the Bible isn't it? At Bethlehem God entered the slave market where the whole human race was putting itself up for auction, prostituting itself and its humanity to a cheapened life. But on the cross the Lord Jesus paid the price, the full price for our freedom, and bought us back. This is the story of God's love and God's heart -- his loving desire to make of his people the full persons he intended them to be. And this is the voice of the spirit wooing his church for reconciliation so he can heal, bless and redeem. Overview of Hosea: The Prophet and the Prostitute | RayStedman.org

Unlike the Levite who rode with his dead wife on his donkey, Christ the king coming according to the prophet Zachariah who rides on a colt, humble and ready to save. He is the good Samaritan that found the wounded, bruised and half dad naked man on the road from Jerusalem to Jericho and poured on his oil and wine, clothed him, saddled him on his donkey and took him to a safe inn. This is what the Lord wants to do for you. He wants to cover your nakedness. He want the feed and protect you. He want to be a shelter from the storm and a refuge in these perilous times fir you bare witness with me that the horrible crime against the sanctity of marriage, against God and against humanity is same repeated in our day from what is reported daily on the media and from the few sampe stories I have shared in this prophecy. It is a people without God and a bride without her wedding garment. She is naked, wounded, groaning, and yet would not return to her husband.

Don’t sit stiff-necked like the prostitute in Revelations 17 and 18 who says: I sit as queen and I shall not have sorrow. The end of such is satanic gang rapes and dismemberments as recorded in Judges 19-21. Receive his “garment” and be kept in the mighty name of Jesus!!!

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Isaiah 33:22

I would like to conclude with Isaiah 33:13 speaks which of God's mighty work in the miraculous deliverance of Jerusalem by the destruction of a whole army in a single night as an event already accomplished, a frequent phenomenon in prophecy. Isaiah 33:15 reveals six elements or acts of righteousness that brought about, or paved way, for this deliverance, namely, (1) righteous conduct; (2) upright and honorable speech; (3) hatred of oppression; (4) refusal to take bribes; (5) rejection of all thoughts of murder; and (6) refusal to look upon shameful and evil things. Isaiah 33:16 records and shows God's love for the righteous and his provision for their needs. Such promises as these do not apply solely to the righteous people of Isaiah's times, but to the saved of all generations. Of course, as Rawlinson noted, "There are Messianic ideas mingled with these later verses (Isaiah 33:16-21)."[11] All this “good things” happened to them because they had made the LORD their KING by living out HIS laws. So  Verse 17 says "Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty”.

How? When the Lord is KING in your midst: And when the Lord is king over the land:

  • Your heart will give thought to the cause of your fear: where is the scribe, where is he who made a record of the payments, where is he by whom the towers were numbered? -18

Never again will you see the cruel people, a people whose tongue has no sense for you; whose language is strange to you (that is those that abused and insulted and plagued you with their tongue).  Isaiah says, ‘You will never see those cruel people again.’ The Hebrew word that Isaiah uses here may mean ‘barbaric’. Originally, the word ‘barbaric’ described people that spoke a strange language. But nowadays it describes people that do very bad things. And they do very cruel things - 19

  • You will live in a quiet resting-place,
  • Your tent will not be moved, whose tent-pins will never be pulled up, and whose cords will never be broken, (Your life will not be cut short). – verse 20
  • The Lord will be with you in his glory, …wide rivers and streams; where no boat will go with blades, and no fair ship will be sailing. (His Holy Presence will be in your midst) – 21

All of this shall be because THE LORD IS KING OVER THE LAND. And because you have believed in your heart, lived it in your actions and confessed with your mouth that, “The Lord is my judge, the Lord is our law-giver, the Lord is our king; he will be our saviour.” #Isa 33:15-24

KURIOS IYESUS – JESUS IS LORD

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. Isaiah 33:22

In the preceding lessons, we saw that the bride with the wedding “garment” makes Christ his or her HEAD. Which means such has believed in their heart the Lord Jesus and confessed with their mouth that He was raised from the dead. Paul say in Romans chapter 10 verse 9 and 10 that such is SAVED. It is of the same that Isaiah cries in chapter 33 verse 22 of his book that THE LORD IS OUR JUDGE, THE LORD IS OUR LAW-GIVER, THE LORD IS OUR KING – AND HE WILL SAVE US!!! Did you see it?? Many of us who became born again quoted this Scripture of head with recognizing the benefits hidden in it for the believer! This is the revelation I received from the holy Spirit on Saturday, 24th of January, 2014, whiles recording this prophecy.  I marveled at the overflow of Rhema given God’s Holy Spirit in these simple words. He said that whoever confesses His LORDSHIP will see and acknowledge him also as Judge, Law-giver and King, and to whosoever “shall call on the name of the LORD, that is confess his lordship shall be delivered.” This deliverance was three folds. When you get married to Jesus, that is when you get born again, you make him your Husband or Lord and in allowing Him to be your Lord, you are saying that HE IS YOUR JUDGE, LAWGIVER, AND KING.

THE LORD IS JUDGE

This means He will be their JUDGE, The Lord Jesus Christ, who has all judgment committed to him by the Father, will judge you, right their wrongs, and avenge your injuries. For the Lord is our Judge again means Yahweh will be to us nothing but a source of happiness, truth, and prosperity. His presence will be to us only a blessing, and a means of success and joy. The repetition of the name Yahweh three times is common in the Scriptures. The glorious Lord "The glorious name of Jehovah" - I take שם shem for a noun, with the Septuagint and Syriac. See Psalm 20:1; Proverbs 18:10.

THE LORD IS THE LAW

He is your LAW-GIVER, which interpreted is, He will give you life. For the Law of God is Holy and it is the very life on which man’s breath hangs. The Lord is the only Lawgiver; who has enacted wholesome laws for his church, written them on their hearts, and put his Spirit within them, to enable them to keep them.

When God is your Lawgiver, v15 [The answer is] the person that [is like this].

·  He is very good. And he speaks what is right.

·  [That person] gains nothing from cruelty.

·  He does not accept a *bribe in his hands, which are shaking.

·  [That person] closes his ears against plans to murder [people].

·  And he shuts his eyes so that he does not think about evil [things].

v16 [That person] will be the person that lives on high places. That person’s defence will be safe places in the rocks. Such people will always have food and they will not run out of water.

v17 Your eyes will see the beauty of the king. [Your eyes] will see a country that reaches a long distance away.

v18 Your mind will think about [past] terror. [You will wonder] where [these people] are [now]:

·  the [enemy’s] official that counted [things]

·  [the one that] weighed [everything]

·  [the one that] counted high buildings.

v19 You will never see those cruel people again. They speak mysterious words. Their language is strange. It is hard to understand it.

v20 Look at Zion (Jerusalem). It is the city where we have our festivals (special occasions with big public parties). Your eyes will see Jerusalem. It is a peaceful place. It is [like] a tent that people will never remove. They will never pull up its *pegs. They will never break its ropes (very thick strings).

v21 It is there [in Jerusalem] that the *LORD will be our powerful [God]. [Jerusalem] will be [like] a place with wide rivers and streams. No boat that oars push along will go on them. No great ship will sail on them.

v22 [This will happen] because the *LORD is our judge. The *LORD gives our laws to us. The *LORD is our king. It is [the *LORD] that will make us safe.

THE LORD IS KING

King of saints, King of Zion, made so by his Father, owned by his church, under whose government it is in safety. King of the Universe, King of kings, King of all! The Lord is king!  And he will save us; from all sin, and from all enemies, with an everlasting salvation. The church here speaks with great pleasure of her interest in Christ under every character, and of her safety as depending upon him. The king decrees, the church obeys and not negotiate or argues. This is kingdom principles and the rules of monarchy and not democracy. The Targum is, "the Lord is our Judge, who brought us by his power out of Egypt; the Lord is our teacher, who gave us the doctrine of the law from Sinai; the Lord is our King, he will redeem us, and take vengeance of judgment for us on the army of Gog;'' which shows that the ancient Jews understood this prophecy as referring to times yet to come.

Human beings have always loved to be without God in their prosperity until all hell breaks loose before they begin to say Lord, Lord. There is a mechanism of rebellious from the days of Adam which stirs the unregenerate man to seek to be god without the Lord. Then, there are those others that confess him with their mouth but their hearts are far-away. This is why Bible says, “For if we confess with our mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. Thus with the heart we believed and with the mouth (which is also our lives), we confess his Lordship. His rulership. For the Word Lord, from Strongs number 2962 κύριος kurios, pronounced koo’-ree-os from kuros (supremacy); n m from the Authorized Version is –Lord 667x, lord 54x, master 11x, Sir6x, misc 4x; 748

It means

1) he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has power of deciding; master, lord

1a) the possessor and disposer of a thing

1a1) the owner; one who has control of the person, the master

1a2) in the state: the sovereign, prince, chief, the Roman emperor

1b) is a title of honour expressive of respect and reverence, with which servants greet their master

1c) this title is given to: God, the Messiah

Lord - According to the Easton’s Bible Dictionary, there are various Hebrew and Greek words so rendered.

1. Heb. Jehovah, has been rendered in the English Bible LORD, printed in small capitals. This is the proper name of the God of the Hebrews. The form "Jehovah" is retained only in #Ex 6:3 #Ps 83:18 Isa 12:2 26:4 both in the Authorized and the Revised Version.

2. Heb. ‘adon, means one possessed of absolute control. It denotes a master, as of slaves #Ge 24:14,27 or a ruler of his subjects #Ge 45:8 or a husband, as lord of his wife #Ge 18:12 The old plural form of this Hebrew word is _’ adonai_. From a superstitious reverence for the name "Jehovah," the Jews, in reading their Scriptures, whenever that name occurred, always pronounced it _’ Adonai_.

3. Greek kurios, a supreme master, etc. In the LXX. this is invariably used for "Jehovah" and "’ Adonai."

4. Heb. ba’al, a master, as having domination. This word is applied to human relations, as that of husband, to persons skilled in some art or profession, and to heathen deities. "The men of Shechem," literally "the baals of Shechem" #Jud 9:2,3 These were the Israelite inhabitants who had reduced the Canaanites to a condition of vassalage #Jos 16:10 17:13

5. Heb. seren, applied exclusively to the "lords of the Philistines" #Jud 3:3 The LXX. render it by satrapies. At this period the Philistines were not, as at a later period #1Sa 21:10 under a kingly government. (See) #Jos 13:3 1Sa 6:18 There were five such lordships, viz., Gath, Ashdod, Gaza, Ashkelon, and Ekron.

The above definition of Lord is the same that we saw from the word HEAD: We said that the word head, in the Scriptures, is designed often to denote master, ruler, chief, The word (Greek) is often thus used in the Old Testament. See #Nu 17:3 25:15 De 28:13,44 Jud 10:18 11:8,11 1Sa 15:17 2Sa 22:44. In the New Testament the word is used in the sense of lord, ruler, chief, in #Eph 1:22 4:15 Eph 5:23 Col 2:10. Here it meant that Christ is the Ruler, Director, or Lord of the Christian man and that every Christian should recollect the relation in which he stands to him, as one that is fitted to produce the strictest decorum, and a steady sense of subordination.

Of every man. Every Christian. All acknowledge Christ as their Ruler and Master. They are subject to him; and in all proper ways recognize their subordination to him.  The true believer, was has and does confess CHRIST AS LORD or who proclaims Isaiah 33 verse 22, therefore, watches against all occasions of sin that would soil or steal away their garment, leaving them naked. Such a bride can be assured that the divine power of Christ will keep her safe, and her faith in that power will keep her easy. She shall lack nothing necessary for her. Every blessing of salvation shall freely be bestowed on all such who ask with humble, believing prayer; This bride shall be safe in time and forever. Those who walk uprightly shall not only have bread given, and their water sure, but they shall, by faith, see the King of kings in his beauty, the beauty of holiness. The remembrance of the terror they were in, shall add to the pleasure of their deliverance.

The succeeding Chapters in Isaiah 33 teaches us that, is desirable to be quiet in our own houses, but much more so to be quiet in God’s house; and in every age Christ will have a seed to serve him. — Jerusalem had no large river running by it, but the presence and power of God made up all needs. We have all in God, all we need, or can desire. By faith we take Christ for our Prince and Saviour; he reigns over his redeemed people. All who refuse to have him to reign over them, make shipwreck of their souls. — Sickness is taken away in mercy, when its fruit is the taking away of sin. If iniquity be taken away, we have little reason to complain of outward affliction. This last verse leads our thoughts, not only to the most glorious state of the gospel church on earth, but to heaven, where no sickness or trouble can enter. He who blots out our transgressions, will heal our souls.

"The king in his beauty ..." (Isaiah 33:17).

Some three different opinions are sustained by scholars. On account of the mention of Jehovah as the judge, lawgiver, and king in Isaiah 33:22, some believe the "king in his beauty" is a reference to Jehovah. Others suppose that the reference is to Hezekiah; and still others believe the reference is to the Messiah. We prefer the third interpretation; because (1) the Jerusalem of this passage is the capital of a worldwide land (Isaiah 33:17). (Palestine is not so), (2) she is a "quiet habitation" and inviolable (Isaiah 33:20), (3) God is the acknowledged ruler there (not so of the literal Jerusalem who officially declared that, "We have no king but Caesar" - John 19:15), (4) the Jerusalem of this passage was situated in a land of broad rivers and streams (Isaiah 33:21), which was never true of the literal Jerusalem, (5) The Jerusalem-Zion here spoken of was inviolable. Spoken of as a tent whose stakes could never be plucked up nor have any of its cords broken, the literal Jerusalem would last little more than a century before it would be utterly destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and its peoples made captive for seventy years. (6) Finally, the citizens of the Jerusalem-Zion in view here would even have their sins forgiven (Isaiah 33:24), a blessing which is limited, absolutely, to the New Covenant.

"Therefore, the king of Isaiah 33:17 must be the Christ in his regal splendor, reigning over a worldwide domain."[12] The New Testament confirmation of this is: "In the regeneration (that is, in the times when people are being born again, in this present dispensation of the Lord Jesus Christ) when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of his glory (Christ is now ruling over all things, Matthew 28:18-20), ye also (the Twelve) shall sit upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (Matthew 19:28).

Saints of God in all generations of the great deliverances and the mighty interpositions of God in human affairs for the protection and blessing of his people. Isaiah 33:18 in this passage is just such a remembrance by God's people of God's interposition in the case of Sennacherib.

Isaiah Chapter 33 (Commentaries - Barnes' Notes on the Bible, Clarke's Commentary on the Bible, Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible, Geneva Study Bible Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. Lord—thrice repeated, as often: the Trinity (Nu 6:24-26). judge … lawgiver … king—perfect ideal of the theocracy, to be realized under Messiah alone; the judicial, legislative, and administrative functions as king to be exercised by Him in person (Isa 11:4; 32:1; Jas 4:12).

The prophetical declaration in Isaiah was made when a CRISES arose in the land of God’s people. It is probably the one that the writer describes in 2 Kings 18:13-37. An enemy deceived Judah’s people that it was their god that had sold them into the hand of the enemy and that there is salvation in any god nor human authority that can plead their deliverance.  The enemy who had attributes of war, bragged and spoke in their hearing and in their language every day! Scarring God’s people about how their great army was about to invade their land - l attack Judah (verse 1). But the LORD WAS KING in Judah. They were also ruled by righteous king Hezekiah who led God’s people to pray to their LORD (verse 2). As a result, the enemy scattered (verse 3). After the battle, people gathered goods and the *LORD gave safety to his people (verses 5-6). This is the portion of the BRIDE OF CHRIST!
