The Fast of Esther (Ta’anit Ester, Hebrew: תַּעֲנִית אֶסְתֵּר) is a Jewish fast from dawn until dusk on Purim eve, commemorating the three-day fast observed by the Jewish people in the story of Purim (Source: Hebcal.com)
Text: Esther 4:16
"Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish."
Our Context:
As some Africans are both physical and spiritual descendants of Abraham, The Diana Adu Royal Global Ministries and Missions like the sons of Issachar is conscious of the 'season of respire' and adhere to activate it by partaking in the celebration not as traditional Jews would, but as led by the Spirit of Christ, by setting the season aside to fast, pray, and wait on God for a ' miracle of reversals' as was in the days of the Black Jewish Diaspora Queen Hadassah!
