THE SUPREMACY OF #CHRIST MANIFESTED THROUGH THE #CHURCH ~ A HYMNODY

The sun has power over all that operates in the day. The moon and stars have power over all that operates in the night. But God is ruler, governor and creator of the moon, the stars, the sun and all the host (warriors/armies) above. He is the supreme power over all powers. And it has pleased Him to put this mighty power displayed (exerted) when He raised Christ from dead into the hands of this same Christ who is seated at his right side of the Father in the heavenly places. By this supreme power, HE rules over all rulers. He has authority over all authorities. He has power over all powers. He is king over all kings and all their kingdoms and He is LORD over all Lord's. He Christ Jesus is now the Authority over everything that has power in this world or in the next world. God put everything under Christ’s power [that is to say, under His feet] and made him head over everything for the [sake of the] church [which is His [Christ’s] body. Now we also who are His body, the church he has raised from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the same heavenly realms (the same place of supreme power) far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name or title that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. This is because we are united with Christ Jesus. God's purpose in all this is to use the church to display his wisdom [and supreme power] in its rich variety to all the #unseen rulers and authorities in the #heavenly #places. God has exalted Him [Christ] to the highest place, and given Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.… For in him all things were created things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. And in Him for we are made complete in Him in every way.
