PROPHETIC SACRIFICE

PRIVATE PROPHETIC PRAISE

And I heard the word of the Lord saying,: "our suffienciency is not of ourselves, for it is God who gives us the will and the strength to do whateve we do". Let, therefore, no man glory."

Then I asked, why then do we walk in this sinful manner, provoking ourselves and wantonly parading our works as if it is of ourselves. This sin is called the pride of life. This is the sin into which David fell into and caused the death of seventy thousand people who were under his rule.

THE SIN

¶  And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. v 10

How many time haven't we prided ourselves of our large congregation and large ministry. Infact even if you don't someone will come and suggest it to you. I have been to several meeting where the success of the programme was based on the number of people that attended. What a pity.. may God have mercy. I have had meetings when the crowd was very big but half were from the witch coven int he city. To a David that is reading, may you heart be pricked unto repentance.

THE CAUSE

Then I heard the word of the Lord saying to me. Go to David and instruct him to build an altar, for this shall be the remedy to the plague of death in the land. See, this is not a word for everyone. It is not for the stiff neck and the self righteous and the proud, but the humble who is weeping in repentance for his or her sin of the pride of life. Bible says that satan was the one behind all this (1).  It is he who seduced David's mind into this lust so he (satan) will have an open door to afflict the people of Israel. He caused David, a child of favour to become a child of wrath, provoking the wrath of God Almighty. Recognize this, even as parents or leaders, there are something our children unconsciously or stubborn do which provokes our wrath. This is the same with God. He cant stand certain attitudes.  I don't know how long this sin is going on in your life. David's  sin pf pride, lasted for 9 month and 20 days. He was so full of himself, he refused any spiritual advise from the spiritual warriors who knew the rules of battle. David did not listen to Joab (military commander) and sent him to number Israel and Judah (8,9)

Now as we read through 2 Samuel 24. someone will have difficulty in associating this story to our day. How do we relate this story to our age and to ourselves?

The question is, do you know that the cause of some diseases, plaguing the church, society and home can be the consequence for the sin of the pride of life? or other related issues? cholera, aids, premature death, incurable disease, child mortality. The remedy is repentance. This was the difference between David and Saul. Whiles David repented of his foolish way, Saul kept on seeking validation and repentance from people. But to this, i may suggest, who hold's your life? Saul and his children died but David and his generation lived on, because he repented, and yet suffered the consequence. I hear some people say, all I have to do is seek forgiveness when I sin and my slate will be clean. Yes but from the time you sin to the time of repentance you have left a hole, a door and he who leaves a hole allows the serpent to bite, so it is better to walk under divine grace and holiness.

THE CONSEQUENCE

The bible says that for the sin of the pride of life, David was given three options

"For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David’s seer, saying, Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; (how can God give bad gift? this was a bad offer, a bad exchange, a bad sale, but David seem to have no option but choose). He had ot choose one of them, that God may do it unto thee. So Gad came to David, and gave him God's three options (These were curses -  Deut.28). They are:

1) Seven years of famine come unto thee in the land where he ruled as king?

2) Fleeing three months before his enemies, while they pursue him? and lastly

3) A three days’ pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me. (13)

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait, (i.e to say, I am confused and greatly troubled): let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great. Now, why does David say US, when he gave the orders?, it is because his sin had brought trouble not to him alone but the whole land): and let me not fall into the hand of man. So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men. (14-15)

Now, I want us to look very closely to the above curses. It is the curse of FAMINE which should last for 7 YEARS in the land where he ruled as king; Coming under constant demonic attack and harrasement and continuous defeat (i.e fleeing before one's enemies, while they pursue him) for three months, and lastly three days of pestilence in thy land? (13)...... whenever any of such happens to a people and a land, do you ever immagine that, these are under the wrath of God? and that the punishment is directly from God?... sometimes yes, but many times no...

The first thing Christians do whenever they come under satanic attack is to start to bind and loose, but who can bind God and who can stop his hand. This was the hand of God against his own people.

Many also, especially in the western world will turn to medication and start with scientific researches and others in the pagan countries, who discern that this is demonic, will either blame a witch, an enemy and seek the help of a witch-doctor.

Watch this, the bible says that the cause of the plague or power behind it, was spiritual and not scientific or due to bad hygiene. This angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, and killed 70,00 people in three day, until the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite. David who was also, a prophet's spiritual eyes wa opened to see the cause of the death whiles mourning in repentance and David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father’s house.

So when David saw that, the cause to the sickness and death of his people was spiritual, and that the one behind the attack was an angel, a spiritual being,  he did not start to bind and loose the angel, but he spoke to God. This is because, David knew that, it will be useless to bind the angel since it had legal right in his execution, so he went to the higher order, who is God to seek his decree of mercy. This is when God sent a PROPHET... Though David was also, a prophet, God spoke to a prophet and not to David because through a prophet God has ordained deliverance to his children.

THE CURE

18 ¶  And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.

To rear up an altar is to sacrifice (Heb. mizbe’ah, from a word meaning "to slay"), It is also used for any structure of earth (  #Ex 20:24 or unwrought stone  #Ex 20:25 (both are a fig. of the worshipper), on which sacrifices were offered (that is, from whose being the praise of God is offered). ! Peter says, we are lively stone put together for an altar, to offer up spiritual sacrifices unto God.

This is the prophetic word for a David who is reading this divine prophecy. Bible says in vrs.19 that, "and David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded."

God also, gave a specific place where David was to offer THE SACRIFICE. It was Aranunah's factory, church, threshing floor (place of sacrifice). This is symbolic because a threshing floor means a hole but also, to make smooth, figurative of praise, eulogia Gr. smooth language, for where there is a whole there must be a covering, a sacrifice so the serpent cant bite or destroy. So David said to Araunah, pleasae sell me your threshingfloor of thee, that I may to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people. To this Araunah tried to give the land and the animals needed for the sacrifice to David  for free, saying, "Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee.20-23

But verse 24 says David said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. and in verser 25  David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from.

The pestilence or plague according to the Strong's dictionary, 04046 הפגמ maggephah mag-gay-faw’. It means to strike, smite or give a blow, that is to wound (make sick) slaughter. It means fatal stroke, be slaughtered in battle or of those under God's divine judgment. So we have seen that, a mass grave was reared in Israel because people were dying like chicken's from unknown diseases and others fell under sudden death either through accident, shock, heart problems, etc., Another definition for the pestilence also, is  רבד deber deh’- ber

(01698 from 01696 (in the sense of destroying); It means a murrain, cattle disease, cattle-plague. So we know from this definition, that the sickness which killed 70,000 people in Israel, was not a bad hygience or lack of medical facilities, but an angel that was putting "a cattle disease" on them. I believe this was the cause of the cow-mouth disease which plagues Europe.

When the pig plague started to kill people in Italy, we know that this was an angel of death on assignment, we offered "a sacrifice". This was when one of our members daughter dreamt of a half man, half pig wanting to touch her. It means that the demon wanted to infect her with the disease but it failed.

Now, my dear brother and sister who has patiently read through this prophecy, I don't know why you stopped to read and I dont know what kind of plague, sickness, death, or affliction has infested your house. I received this whiles mourning for a difficult blow which suddenly was affecting people very close to me. In my pain of the why's? I heard this word of prophecy... The prophet is for a sign and sometimes what they go through is prophetic, a pantomine. Jeremiah was forbidden to marry. Ezekiel's wife was killed as a prophecy to Israel and he was forbidden to mourn and Hosea had to prophetically and physically marry a prostitute and rear up bastard children which he did not impregnate. watch how you judge a prophet.

July in Hebrew is Tammuz, a name of a demon worshipped by apostate Israel (it is the mother-sun religion). It rituals included women weeping at the gate of the court for three day... The gate of the court is symbolic of THANKSGIVING, but satan, turned it into a weeping ritual for God's people. It is symbolic of David's three day affliction of death, which consequently caused weeping in the whole land for three day. Satan told the people to weep for three days and after receive prosperity, but bible says that Jesus is the only one that died and rose after three day, he is the ressurection and the life, he is the author of life and holds the keys of death and life. He is also, the ultimate sacrifice, THE SACRIFICE better than that of Abel and the blood of bulls and goats which David prophetically offered.

David offered bulls and the plague of sudden sickness and sudden death was stayed from his land. We offer the spiritual blood called praise, worship and thanksgiving. This is the sacrifice for the NT generation. We offer PRAISE for Christ is our Sacrifice, and his blood is called THANKSGIVING eucharisteo Gr. See, this kind of praise is not a leisure praise, a routine sunday praise to while away time or to recieve the guest. This is EMERGENCY PRAISE, a life saving praise, remedy, cure, lifeline, where someone's life is at risk because we refuse to praise and we chose to bind and loose instead of offering a sacrifice of praiseeeeeee.

This is the prophetic sacrifice I urge you to offer in this season, so God can turn your weeping into worship, wealth and wisdom. This is a word for he who can discern the voice of the prophet and say yes.... Let he or she who has ears, hear what the Spirit is saying to A DAVID. Choose life, that you, your house and your children may live.

God Richly Bless You

Araunah

Agile; also called Ornan #1Ch 21:15 a Jebusite who dwelt in Jerusalem before it was taken by the Israelites. The destroying angel, sent to punish David for his vanity in taking a census of the people, was stayed in his work of destruction near a threshing-floor belonging to Araunah which was situated on Mount Moriah. Araunah offered it to David as a free gift, together with the oxen and the threshing instruments; but the king insisted on purchasing it at its full price #2Sa 24:24 1Ch 21:24,25 for, according to the law of sacrifices, he could not offer to God what cost him nothing. On the same place Solomon afterwards erected the temple #2Sa 24:16 2Ch 3:1

Altar

(Heb. mizbe’ah, from a word meaning "to slay"), any structure of earth #Ex 20:24 or unwrought stone #Ex 20:25 on which sacrifices were offered. Altars were generally erected in conspicuous places #Ge 22:9 Eze 6:3 2Ki 23:12 16:4 23:8 Ac 14:13 The word is used in #Heb 13:10 for the sacrifice offered upon it — the sacrifice Christ offered. Paul found among the many altars erected in Athens one bearing the inscription, "To theunknown God" #Ac 17:23 or rather "to an [i.e., some] unknown God." The reason for this inscription cannot now be accurately determined. It afforded the apostle the occasion of proclaiming the gospel to the "men of Athens." The first altar we read of is that erected by Noah #Ge 8:20 Altars were erected by Abraham #Ge 12:7 13:4 22:9 by Isaac #Ge 26:25 by Jacob #Ge 33:20 35:1,3 and by Moses #Ex 17:15 "Jehovah-nissi". In the tabernacle, and afterwards in the temple, two altars were erected.

1. The altar of burnt offering #Ex 30:28 called also the "brasen altar" #Ex 39:39 and "the table of the Lord" #Mal 1:7 This altar, as erected in the tabernacle, is described in #Ex 27:1-8 It was a hollow square, 5 cubits in length and in breadth, and 3 cubits in height. It was made of shittim wood, and was overlaid with plates of brass. Its corners were ornamented with "horns" #Ex 29:12 Le 4:18 In #Ex 27:3 the various utensils appertaining to the altar are enumerated. They were made of brass. (Comp.) #1Sa 2:13,14 Le 16:12 Nu 16:6,7 In Solomon’s temple the altar was of larger dimensions #2Ch 4:1 Comp. #1Ki 8:22,64 9:25 and was made wholly of brass, covering a structure of stone or earth. This altar was renewed by Asa #2Ch 15:8 It was removed by Ahaz #2Ki 16:14 and "cleansed" by Hezekiah, in the latter part of whose reign it was rebuilt. It was finally broken up and carried away by the Babylonians #Jer 52:17 After the return from captivity it was re-erected #Ezr 3:3,6 on the same place where it had formerly stood. (Comp. 1 Macc. 4:47.) When Antiochus Epiphanes pillaged Jerusalem the altar of burnt offering was taken away. Again the altar was erected by Herod, and remained in its place till the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans (70 A.D.). The fire on the altar was not permitted to go out #Le 6:9 In the Mosque of Omar, immediately underneath the great dome, which occupies the site of the old temple, there is a rough projection of the natural rock, of about 60 feet in its extremelength, and 50 in its greatest breadth, and in its highest part about 4 feet above the general pavement. This rock seems to have been left intact when Solomon’s temple was built. It was in all probability the site of the altar of burnt offering. Underneath this rock is a cave, which may probably have been the granary of Araunah’s threshing-floor #1Ch 21:22

2. The altar of incense #Ex 30:1-10 called also "the golden altar"#Ex 39:38 Nu 4:11 stood in the holy place "before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony." On this altar sweet spices were continually burned with fire taken from the brazen altar. The morning and the evening services were commenced by the high priest offering incense on this altar. The burning of the incense was a type of prayer #Ps 141:2 Re 5:8 8:3,4 This altar was a small movable table, made of acacia wood overlaid with gold #Ex 37:25,26 It was 1 cubit inlength and breadth, and 2 cubits in height. In Solomon’s temple the altar was similar in size, but was made of cedar-wood #1Ki 6:20 7:48 overlaid with gold. In #Eze 41:22it is called "the altar of wood." Comp. #Ex 30:1-6 In the temple built after the Exile the altar was restored. Antiochus Epiphanes took it away, but it was afterwards restored by Judas Maccabaeus (1 Macc. 1:23 4:49) Among the trophies carried away by Titus on the destruction of Jerusalem the altar of incense is not found, nor is any mention made of it in #Heb 9:1ff. It was at this altar Zacharias ministered when anangel appeared to him #Lu 1:11 It is the only altar which appears in the heavenly temple #Isa 6:6 Re 8:3,4
